Stroller Rental in Seoul: Hongdae Pickup or Hotel Delivery?

The suitcase closes. Then you remember the stroller. If you would rather rent one in Seoul, the next decision is worth making before you fly: where will you receive it, and how will you return it? Those two appointments can make a surprising difference to your first and last days.
Short answer KPLANZ offers stroller pickup near Hongik University Station Exit 3, plus hotel delivery and return collection by advance arrangement. At your hotel, you meet the team in person to receive the stroller and settle the remaining rental fee and separate security deposit. Delivery and collection cost extra.
Collect in Hongdae if it already fits your day
If your hotel is nearby or you are visiting Hongdae anyway, shop pickup keeps things simple. Leave time between landing and collection for immigration, luggage and the journey into Seoul. You will also need a plan for getting around with your child before you receive the stroller.
Regular shop hours are Monday–Friday, 10:00–17:00 Korea time. Weekend, public-holiday and out-of-hours visits need an appointment; confirm your time before setting off.
Choose hotel delivery when you want to unpack first
With a child, suitcases and an unfamiliar neighbourhood, a second trip out can feel like one job too many. Hotel delivery lets you arrange a meeting where you are staying. Choose a time when you will be there yourself for the handover, rental balance and security deposit.
You can mix the two methods rather than booking a round trip you do not need:

Book the return as carefully as the arrival
On the last morning, there is packing, breakfast and a child who may have very different plans. Arrange the return collection around checkout while you still have your calendar open.
For delivery, request a quote with your dates and address before paying the rental booking deposit. After approval, pay the delivery/collection fees and then the booking deposit; both payments confirm the reservation. The booking deposit is part of the rental fee, separate from the refundable security deposit. Same-day delivery requests are unavailable.
Delivery balances are paid in Korean won cash at handover; the security deposit can be paid in won or an agreed equivalent in foreign-currency cash. There is no card terminal on delivery.
If you also need the journey from Incheon or Gimpo Airport, airport pickup is a separate service you can ask about. Do not assume an airport handover is included with a stroller reservation.
